Michael Weatherly never knew just how big NCIS is around the world until he went to Paris and drew attention away from the Eiffel Tower. There, on an outdoor plaza over- looking the world’s most iconic monument, he triggered a near stampede of fans during a during a trip to Paris for Watch! magazine.
The crowd, which at one point measured four people deep, endured frigid temperatures as fans stood in line for autographs and photos with the actor. Though it was only his first day of sightseeing, the occasion turned out to be the prevailing theme of Weatherly’s visit to Paris, thanks to global syndication, which has made NCIS one of the world’s most popular shows. Wherever he went, the actor was immediately recognized and in some cases slapped on the head—a nod to Tony DiNozzo, his TV counterpart, who could only wish for such attention. ET’s with the “NCIS” hunk as he makes a French connection!
“NCIS” star MICHAEL WEATHERLY, who plays Special Agent Tony DiNozzo, was very much an American in Paris when he flew to the City of Lights for a photo shoot for the June cover of CBS’ Watch! magazine.
“Normally, on my break from ‘NCIS,’ because we work long hours, I like to go and veg,” Michael tells ET. “Sit on a beach somewhere, maybe lose 10 pounds and try to get back to some semblance of shape. Instead, I went to Paris, ate foie gras, drank red wine and did a lot of press — the show is very popular in Europe.” » More

LOGIES special guest Michael Weatherly will be keeping it all in the family when he hits the red carpet on Sunday, with news his niece is to be his date.
But Alexandra Breckenridge is not just any old plus-one for the NCIS star – she’s got her own TV career credits to boast about. The 24-year-old actress has appeared on hit dramas Dirt, CSI, Medium and Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
According to insiders at Channel 10, she is set to fly into Melbourne with her more famous uncle later this week.
