In NCIS, Michael Weatherly plays Senior Special Agent Anthony ‘Tony’ DiNozzo, a streetwise former Baltimore homicide detective who is second in charge under Gibbs Mark Harmon). Despite the show’s procedural drama genre, much humour comes from Tony’s need to hit on any woman he interrogates or arrests. The equally humorous 38-year-old actor � formerly engaged to Jessica Alba, his co-star on the series Dark Angel � showed his own light-hearted side when he sat down with TV Guide on the set of NCIS in Valencia, north of Los Angeles.

Irrepressible, hunky Michael Weatherly of CBS’s “NCIS” refuses to be pinned down on the season-ending story of the show, which will include the departure of a major character. “I feel bad that this is being put out that someone is leaving “NCIS.” People assume it’s one of the actors, but it’s a guy in wardrobe,” he deadpans. “Zippy, we called him, because he was the guy who installed all the zippers.
